Cookies Policy

This notice explains which cookies and similar tools are used by the Virtus QMS website, run by INPROOV S.r.l., Via della Croce Rossa 8, 35129 Padua, Italy. It complements the Privacy Policy, which describes all other data processing.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a site saves in the browser to remember information from one page to the next or between visits. Similar tools, such as the browser’s local storage (localStorage), work the same way and follow the same rules.

Technical cookies are needed for the site to work and do not require consent. Third-party statistics cookies are used only if you accept them. This site does not use profiling or advertising cookies and contains no social media sharing buttons.

2. Technical tools (always active)

The site saves a single technical item in the browser’s local storage, «virtus-consenso», with your choice about statistics cookies and the date you made it. It stops the banner appearing on every page and lasts six months; after that the banner asks you again.

Fonts and all the site’s resources are served by our own server: until you accept, the browser does not contact any third-party service.

3. Statistics cookies (only with your consent)

If you choose «Accept» in the banner, the site may switch on two tools to understand in aggregate form how it is used and to improve it:

1. Google Analytics 4, by Google Ireland Limited (Google LLC group): measures visits and page views. Cookies «_ga» and «_ga_<ID>», lasting up to 2 years. Notice: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en
2. Microsoft Clarity, by Microsoft Corporation: records clicks and scrolling anonymously to show which parts of the pages work best. Cookies «_clck» (1 year), «_clsk» (1 day), «CLID» and «MUID» (1 year). Notice: https://privacy.microsoft.com/en-gb/privacystatement

If you refuse or close the banner with the X, these tools are not loaded and no statistics cookie is saved. Data collected with your consent may be transferred to the United States with the safeguards described in the Privacy Policy.

4. How to choose and change your mind

On your first visit the banner offers «Accept» and «Reject»; the X counts as rejecting. You can change your choice at any time from the «Cookie preferences» link at the bottom of every page.

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings:

1. Chrome: Settings, Privacy and security, Third-party cookies.
2. Firefox: Settings, Privacy and Security, Cookies and Site Data.
3. Safari: Settings, Privacy, Manage Website Data.
4. Edge: Settings, Cookies and site permissions.
